Shown in this 2008 photo is the former First National Bank building on East Ridgewood Avenue. The current conference room on the upper floor of the building was the Masonic Hall  and  where Ridgewood Chapter met when it was instituted. Meetings now as then were the 1st & 3rd Fridays of the month.

Hall, Ellison Street, Paterson, where on October 20, 1909 the 40th Annual Session of Grand Chapter of NJ of the Order of the Easter Star met and Ridgewood Chapter was chartered. The MW Grand Matron stated, "On October 1, 1909, we visited Ridgewood Chapter, U.D. To say that I am proud of this Chapter does not begin to express my feelings. I was overwhelmed with the way in which the work was rendered. If NJ ever had a banner Chapter, Ridgewood, U.D. will reach that height."
